On-the-clock things.
Over the years I've had opportunities to work with award-winning product launches, clients' personal narratives, social media campaigns, and much more; unfortunately, confidentiality, IP laws, and mutual respect keep me from including most of them in my professional portfolio. So I've decided to create a few of my own ads and copywriting samples.
Bottles & banners.
Years ago a friend of mine challenged me to design bottles of alcohol with accompanying stories/descriptions; these would be the fruits of that labor.
Backgrounds & illustrations.
Yet another friend challenged me to come up with background illustrations for phones and computers and how I would market them to the audience most likely to show an interest in them.
Book covers & synopses.
I got my start in writing and editing wanting to be a professional author, so on top of designing graphics, I wanted to come up with the copy that entices readers to pick up and/or buy the book.
Logos.
While this is less writing-related, it involves getting to know the client, their desires, their expectations, and how I can make them all come to life as one.
